Deborah Romero

Dr. Deborah Romero is an Assistant Professor in ESL/Bilingual Education in the Hispanic Studies Program at the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Romero teaches in the ESL/Bilingual Endorsement Program and also teaches graduate courses in Linguistically Diverse Education for the School of Teacher Education. Dr. Romero has taught High School in the United Kingdom and college courses in Mexico and the U.S. Her research centers on second language and literacy acquisition, family literacy, and the role of technology in these processes.
