Network Services are provided by two teams. The two teams work in conjunction to bring the UNC campus the following services.

Midrange Services manages and administers Email, File & Print, and the World Wide Web services and hardware for the UNC Campus Community.  We also provide desktop software support, hardware support and printer repair.  Our team holds certifications for A+, Network +, Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

Network Communications designs, implements, and maintains technologies that make up the campus network infrastructure.  The Cisco accredited staff of Network Engineering strives to provide uninterrupted, quality network service to students, faculty, staff and administration to facilitate learning, instruction, research and service. Supported technologies include but are not limited to Routing, Switching, Remote Access (VPN), Wireless (802.11a & 802.11b), IP Telephony, Content Switching, Web/FTP Caching, QOS (Packet shaping), and Security.
