Smart Classrooms are classrooms on campus that have been enhanced with technology to enhance the learning process. There are four basic types of technology-enhanced classrooms on campus (often referred to generally as Smart Classrooms). The four types of classrooms:
Smart Classrooms (touch panel control)
High-Tech Rooms (button-pad control)
Projector Rooms (wall-panel control or remote control)
Smart Cart (LCD TV on rollable cart)
Access to Smart Classrooms is managed via card swipe through Facilities Management. Please see your college's Dean's office to complete the necessary paperwork.
Scheduling a Smart Classroom
Please contact the Dean's office of your college in order to request a Smart Classroom prior to the start of semester. Rooms may be scheduled through your college's Dean's office or Academic Scheduling, (970) 351-2558, once semester starts.
Smart Classroom Training
Please contact the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL) at (970) 351-2885 for training.
Smart Classroom Support
Smart Classroom support is provided by Information Technology. Please call the Technical Support Center at (970)351-4357(HELP) for assistance. Phones located in the Smart Classrooms ring directly to Technical Support.
