Grader is the exam bubble sheet grading system at UNC. The Center for the Enhancement of Teaching & Learning (CETL) conducts training workshops to train faculty in using the system. To request one on one training, or a Grader workshop please contact the CETL at 970.351.2885.
The Using Grader workshop is designed to help faculty who adminster bubble sheet-based exams learn the Grader system.In one half hour session, participants will be introduced to the Grader system by demonstration. Screen shots from the program will be used to walk faculty through its use.
Upon completion of this course, participants will:
become familiar with the Grader system
receive step by step instructions regarding the process for giving exams
learn how to edit exam data including exam parameters, exam keys and student data
see how output files from Grader can be managed using Microsoft Excel

Exam Scoring Locations
Faculty can score their own exams at the self-service location located in Candelaria 2140. A training manual is provided in Candelaria 2140 to help use the scanner. Pepper Mueller is also available to help if needed. She is located in the Anthropology & Geology office, Candelaria 2200 or by phone at 351.2715.
Faculty may also bring exams to Carter 10 to have the exams scored. The window is open 8am-5pm Monday through Friday except when the University is closed.
