Faculty & Staff Internet Access
Internet Access on the University of Northern Colorado campus is offered a variety of ways.
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
VPN connects remote users to the UNC network resources via the internet in a secure manner. Users who connect to the internet from home will need to use VPN in order to access some campus resources. In order to utilize VPN, please connect to https://remote.unco.edu. Further documentation will be available on that site.
The legacy VPN client is nearing the end of its life cycle. All necessary access to campus resources is now available via the SSL VPN link above. Links to the old VPN client are below for your convenience, but will no longer be supported as of December 31, 2009.
Wireless
Wireless network access is currently available in all academic areas. The University Center, Holmes Dining Hall, Tobey-Kendel Hall, Carter Hall, Judy Farr Center, Davis House, Kohl House, Nottingham Field, Butler-Hancock Pavilion, West Campus Housing, and Turner Hall also have wireless coverage. This service is available to faculty, staff, students and guests.
