To ensure that all data is permanently removed from all computers prior to leaving the University, Information Technology will now be handling the disposal of computer equipment for the University.  If you have any old computer equipment that needs to be sent to surplus please contact the Technical Support Center (1-4357) and a support technician will pick up the equipment and assist you with the proper documentation required to dispose of the equipment.  Facilities Management will not pick up any computer equipment not authorized by Information Technology.  The revised computer surplus procedure can be found on the IT website at the following link http://www.unco.edu/it/equipmentdisposal/surplusprocedure3.1.pdf
