Microsoft Office 2013

STATUS: Phase 4 - Campus Deployment
Microsoft Office 2013 is currently the preferred Microsoft Office system. Office 2013 will be installed on the base image for the ACRP this fall, it will be installed on all Windows based Computer Labs and Classrooms this summer 2014. If you're interested in upgrading to Office 2013 contact the Technical Support Center at (970) 351-4357 and submit a support request. There is no charge to upgrade to Office 2013 on University owned computers. Office 2013 home use licenses for faculty and staff can be purchased from Bear Logic at a significantly discounted price. Microsoft Office 2011 for Macintosh

Microsoft Office 2011 for Macintosh is currently the preferred office system for Apple computers. Office 2011 is installed on all Apple Computer Labs and Classrooms. There is no software charge to upgrade to Office 2011 on University owned Apple computers. Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Enterprise

STATUS: Phase 4 - Campus Deployment
A majority of all existing SharePoint sites have been migrated to Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Enterprise. All new SharePoint site requests are being created in SharePoint 2010 Enterprise.

Apple OS X Mountain Lion

STATUS: Phase 4 - Campus Deployment
Mac OS X Mountain Lion is currently being deployed on all Apple computers. Institutional purchases of Apple OS X Mountain Lion should be purchased directly from Bear Logic not through the Apple Store. 

Microsoft Windows 8.1

STATUS: Phase 2 - Detailed Testing and Compatibility
The Innovative Technology Group has suspended all research on Windows 8 and will be focusing solely on Microsoft Windows 8.1. Windows 8.1 is currently being researched and evaluated internally by the Innovative Technology Group.

Apple OS X Mavericks

STATUS: Phase 2 - Detailed Testing and Compatibility
Although Apple has made the upgrade to Mavericks available for free through the Apple Store, the Innovative Technology Group is not recommending users to download and install it. Mavericks is currently being researched and evaluated internally by the Innovative Technology Group. It will go through the normal evaluation process.
