Information Technology is the primary information technology provider at the University of Northern Colorado.
Our Mission:
Information Technology supports faculty, staff, students and administrative departments in their use of information technology to successfully achieve their assigned missions. This is accomplished through the application of technical expertise, consulting, and training; to maintain and enhance the network, telecommunications and computing infrastructure of the university.
Organization:
The department of Information Technology is comprised of three units:

- Client Services
- Core Services

IT Governance:
Information Technology Committee (ITC). ITC is a University-wide advisory committee established to provide communication, collaboration and coordination on issues regarding information technology policy, planning, resource management, standards, procedures and priorities that will develop and enhance the effective use of information technology by faculty, staff and students.
Plans and Projects:
The current Information Technology Strategic Plan emerged from the University's Academic Plan and in consultation with the Information Technology Committee. The IT Tactical Plan is a detailed road map that outlines specific projects designed to achieve the strategic goals specified in the the IT Strategic Plan.
