When was Office 2007 released?
Office 2007 was released January 30th, 2007. It is now available to our campus community for
work use and is a supported technology.
How do I have Office 2007 installed on my computer?
Faculty and Staff:

How much does
Office 2007 cost?
Office
2007 is free on all university purchased computers. Any other requests
or inquiries for personally owned computers need to be directed to
Bear Logic at (970) 351-1361.
What are the major changes with Office 2007?
Office 2007 includes new applications
and a new user interface. The new interface, Ribbon, replaces what
was previously viewed through menus and toolbars.
When will Office 2007 be available in the computer labs and smart classrooms?
Prior to the start of Fall Semester
August 27th.
Why are we installing Office 2007?
We are installing because new computers purchased
by students will now ship with Office 2007, and members of our
campus community may be creating and submitting documents in the new file format.
Where can I get training for the use of Office 2007 applications?

list of training times and courses.
Does the
Technical Support Center support Office 2007?
Yes. The Technical Support Center is
trained and capable of assisting our campus community with the use
of Office 2007.
I do not have Office 2007 installed can I open a file created in
Office 2007?
Yes. You will need to use the
Office 2007 compatibility pack.
