The Center for International Education (CIE) will meet all arriving planes in Denver and bring the students to UNC in Greeley. Students must request a pick up 1 week in advance. This service will cost $25.00. Please click here to complete the form.

Note: Students arriving after 7:30pm should reserve a hotel near the airport for the night. Accommodations can be found at www.flydenver.com/traveler_services/hotels. We will meet you in the hotel lobby in the morning.
Drop-off: UNC Campus Housing or hotel in Greeley. Housing must be arranged before coming to the USA. Drivers are unable to assist in finding housing. There is a $25 nightly charge for on-campus early arrival housing. This will be billed to your student account.
If you arrive before or after the above dates, you must make arrangements to get to campus as well as a place to stay. We recommend Super Shuttle to get to Greeley. Reservations can be made at www.supershuttle.com. Use the discount code: UNC01.
Please note that it is your responsibility to have a working American credit card or enough American cash to cover the cost of transportation and temporary housing.
Upon pickup from the airport, you will be dropped off at your on-campus housing or hotel. There is a $25/night fee for students who arrive to campus before official UNC move-in days. This applies to all incoming exchange students. Students should plan an extra $75-$100 for early arrival housing in order to be here for the mandatory orientation. This fee will be billed directly to your student account. Housing must be arranged BEFORE arriving to the United States.

- Either the day of or day after, your arrival you will be required to check-in with the CIE office. This is for immigration reasons, but also so we can orient you to our office, and provide you with your welcome bag of goodies! At check-in, please bring the following documents: passport, DS-2019/I-20, I-94 (received during your flight), visa, and your U.S. address.
- All incoming students are required to attend the mandatory orientation that takes place before classes begin. The orientation is usually is scheduled for the Thursday before classes start. Specific dates will be sent to you in your acceptance email.
Welcome Week Events
- During the week before the start of classes and the first week of class, the CIE office organizes several events for incoming students. These events include daily shopping trips to larger shopping centersand to cell phone stores. We plan ice cream socials, welcome BBQs, dinners with CIE staff, bowling, department store/mall shopping trips, ice skating, brewery visits, and other fun events.
