Fast Facts for parents

Interim classes can help your student stay on track and graduate on time. Earning credits during the interim session can also help lighten your student’s course load during the fall and spring semesters.

1. Flexible scheduling: UNC offers interim sessions online. Your student will have time to catch up on credits, work and spend time with the family.
2. Extensive course selection: There are more than 40 interim courses available.
3. Dedicated faculty: UNC’s courses are taught by diverse, dynamic faculty. Class sizes are small, so your student can get personalized attention from the professor.
4. A network of support: Many of the same services offered during the academic year are available to your student during the interim as well, including health services, help from the Writing Center and 24/7 technical support.
