My Best Enemy
(Austria, 2011, 109 min.)
A story of conceit, betrayal, and wartime, My Best Enemy weaves a tale that evokes sympathy for the undermined and marginal while creating a complex web of friendship, honor, and rescue.  Winner of the Best Costume Design award at the Viennale Austrian Film Awards in 2012 and nominated for the 2012 Best Film Score and Art Director at the Viennale Austrian Film Awards, My Best Enemy is directed by Wolfgange Murnberger who successfully and artistically depicts the difficulties and intricacies of the annexation of Austria into the Third Reich.  Moritz Bleibtreu (Munich) and Georg Friedrich (North Face) develop the struggling and tumultuous friendship of these two main characters into a convincing relationship of loyalty and betrayal.
