Reflections
on the Annual Meeting
The RMWP sent its director, co-directors, technology liaison, and two Ambassadors to the National Writing Project Annual Meeting in November of 2005. Read their reflections on the meeting.
The RMWP is a partner with UNC’s spring Writer’s Conference, and for the 2nd year is contributing money to sponsor the on-campus visit of young adult author Avi.
One of the planned new programs for the RMWP is the Young Writer's Camp. The concept behind the YWC is to provide an opportunity for young writer’s to write outside of their classrooms.
The RMWP is also planning to start up a New Teacher Institute to support teachers who are new to the profession. This will be a fantastic source of support and a great contact for new additions to the Northern Colorado teaching community.
