Students should register for their Honors courses using URSA—UNC’s resource for online registration.
Life of the Mind and Honors Connections Seminars
Life of the Mind courses and Honors Connections Seminars often fill quickly and can close before all students have completed registration. However, every
semester the Honors Program reserves a specified number of seats to accommodate additional enrollment in the courses for Honors students. If a MIND-designated course or an HON 100 or 200 seminar appears to be closed, students can contact the Honors office at 351-2940 or honors@unco.edu to ask if additional seats can be opened for them.
Honors Capstone courses
In their junior and senior years, students must obtain the consent of their Honors Advisors to register in HON 351 or 451—the courses in which they will plan and complete their capstone experience. Once they’ve received registration consent, they should log on to URSA to complete their enrollment in HON 351 or 451.
