Honors Places on Campus

Honors Lounge

The Honors Lounge is located in Michener L-98. This room is open Monday through Friday during regular office hours for student use. Equipped with a comfy couch, oversized chairs, and computer work stations with the full Michener Libraryedition of the Microsoft Office suite, it serves as a meeting place for Student Honors Council (SHC) meetings, some SHC nights, and other activities. Students from across campus are always welcome to use the lounge as a study room or a meeting place to gather with friends.

Honors Residential Learning Community

Lujan Hall in President's Row is reserved for students in the University Honors Program. All Honors students can elect to live in the hall, which is a designated campus residential learning community. The hall is located in the heart of west campus and serves as a meeting place for a variety of honors activities, including Pizza Seminars and Mind Files Nights. Most rooms are suites designed to accommodate four people who share one bathroom and a living room space.

Leadership Interest Community

The second residential space that many honors students select is located in Belford Hall and is a designated interest community. Belford Hall is also located on Central campus.
