Current Honors Students
Honors students are part of the rich and diverse community within the Center for Honors, Scholars & Leadership. Students in the program have opportunities to take a variety of interdisciplinary course and experiential learning options as part of their studies. They also receive honors independent study credit for conducting an independent research project in junior and senior year. Links to specific program requirements, honors advising information, and course registration information can be found at left, along with other key non-course information about the Honors Program.
Honors students also have the opportunity to belong to one of the university’s most active student organizations, the Student Honors Council. The Council coordinates various community service projects, fundraisers, and social gatherings. Please check out the Council’s link and the link to News & Events to learn more.
