Embracing Community is a Community-Based Learning and Research symposium which provides Faculty, staff, and students an opportunity to share their work in and out of the classroom with the UNC and Greeley/Northern Colorado communities. The focus of the symposium will be to accentuate the impact that UNC-Weld County partnerships has had on our community and highlight the immense need to prioritize, strengthen, and solidify Community-Based Learning and Research between our UNC campus and the greater Weld County community.

Refreshments will be served througout the event. Students, Faculty and Community organizations will be presenting their projects and partnership information in the Ballrooms from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Faculty may also join in the the Engaged Scholarship Workshop co-hosted by CETL and the Colorado Campus Compact at 11 AM in Spruce Suites. Please RSVP to cetl@unco.edu.

Special guests attending the event include Greeley Mayor Tom Norton, who will deliver a welcome address, and Greeley city council members Donna Sapienza, Robb Casseday, Michael Finn and Sandi Elder.
