Prospective Students
First-Year Student Live-On Requirement
First-year students who are under the age of 20 are required to live on-campus and carry either a full 19-meal or 200-meal plan. Only students who live within 20 miles of campus, are married or who are transferring to the University of Northern Colorado with more than 20 credits are exempt from this policy.
Regardless of your student status, we’re pleased to be able to offer you multiple choices of housing options.
Students who are under 20 years of age and under 20 credits have a wide variety of residence halls to choose from. From traditional double rooms to suite-style living, there’s something for everyone.
Students who are at least 20 years of age or who have at least 20 credits may choose to live in a standard residence hall, Lawrenson Hall, which is an apartment-style residence hall, University Apartments or a University House.
