Turner Hall
Located on West Campus, Turner Hall is a 13 story facility home to 330 students. In the summer of 2009, Turner Hall was renovated to provide students single bedrooms within suites. Each student has an individual bedroom with a bed, wardrobe, and desk. Students share a living room, vanity, and bathroom with the rest of the suite. Depending on the suite selected, student living rooms will consist of a couch, oversized chair, TV stand, and coffee table.
Each floor consists of six 2-person suites, two 5-person suites, and one 3-person suite. Additionally, floors 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, & 13 will each have two stand-alone singles. As of fall 2010, students will have access to a laundry facility no more than one floor away from their current living space. Laundry facilities will be present on floors 3, 6, 9, & 12. Students will also be able to enjoy new lounges spaces that will be created across from the elevators. These new lounges will include a large flat screen TV and furniture.
The lobby in Turner Hall was renovated the summer of 2010. This upgrade allows for meeting spaces for our students and student groups. In addition, the front desk was adjusted to provide better customer service and the ability to better serve our students through safety and security. The lobby provides our students a kitchen space for community programming, and individual student use. The lobby houses a flat screen TV, new furniture, as well as a ping pong and pool tables.
