As you consider your application for the staff position, we would encourage you utilize some of the campus resources to better prepare yourself for the application process.  Some helpful hints are included below:

• Talk to a current Assistant Hall Director about the position you are applying for.  Make sure you have a good understanding of the job and the responsibilities.
• Setup an appointment with a Hall Director or Apartment Manager and learn more about the community expectations that go along with the position.
• Make sure your cover letter clearly highlights your skills and interests in the position and is able to address and speak to where you would be most successful as an Assistant Hall Director.
