The TESL and Bilingual Education programs must be completed in conjunction with the Elementary Education, Secondary Education or K-12 licensure program. Students who successfully complete the courses for either the TESL and/ or Bilingual Education programs will be recommended for the Linguistically Diverse: English as a Second Language and or Bilingual Education K-12 endorsement.
Students must register for and pass the following Colorado PLACE exams (Program for Licensing Assessments for Colorado Educators):
- TESL Endorsement take PLACE exam for Linguistically Diverse Education (17)
- Bilingual Education take PLACE exam for Linguistically Diverse Education Specialist: Bilingual Education (16)
