Equipment Check-Out
The Graduate Student Association (GSA) has equipment available to assist students with research and presentations. This equipment can be checked out for student use upon request. Students are liable for any damages to equipment while it is in their possession.
Survey Gizmo
GSA has a contract with Surveygizmo that allows UNC graduate students access to the preminum online survey system for a certain period of time. You can read more about GSA Surveygizmo account and access the application here.
Laptops
The GSA has a couple of older laptops available - one PC and one Mac. They have Microsoft Office software but not Endnote, Adobe Acrobat, SPSS or Internet Explorer.
Projectors
The GSA has two projectors that can be checked out for use with presentations.
voice recorders and 360 degree microphones
GSA has two digital voice recorders and three 360 degree microphones. The digitial voice recorders have a direct USB connection and can download a recorded session (in WMA file format) directly to your computer.
The 360 degree microphones are very useful for recording focus groups, where you may have many participants. The microphone can pick up voices from every direction directly into your recording device (its the standard plug).
