Financing your Education

UNC offers international undergraduate student scholarships of $6,000 per year for up to four years available on a competitive basis. The Center for International Education also honors four international students who have made significant contributions to international education and global understanding with scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000.

Graduate and teaching assistantships are available on a competitive basis to international graduate students. Check your department for these opportunities. There are also external scholarship and financial aid programs for international students.
