International Student Classifications
Regardless of your international student classification, you will apply for admission through the University of Northern Colorado’s Graduate School and you should direct all questions about the admission process to the Graduate School. You will be assisted in all other aspects of your enrollment by Center for International Education staff, who are looking forward to helping you have a successful experience at the university.
International Undergraduate Freshman Student:
- Has completed or will complete high school/secondary school AND
- Has never attended a college or university
International Undergraduate Transfer Student:
- Has completed high school/secondary school AND
- Is currently taking or has taken college/university-level course work
International Graduate Student:
- Has completed or will complete the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's or master's degree AND
- Wishes to pursue a master's or doctoral degree
