I received a Master of Arts from UNC in 1972. The UNC art department would not admit me to the master's program as I did not have an undergraduate degree in art. My BA from CU/Boulder was in Political Science and Economics. I enrolled in classes to "make up" an undergraduate major, then continued with my master's. After four years in the program, I was told I needed to graduate. I loved doing art at UNC while our three children were in school all day.
