Educational Psychology, MA
The Masters of Arts in Educational Psychology is designed to prepare individuals for educational activities such as evaluation, test construction, educational research, and educational consulting to business and schools, as well as for admission to doctoral programs in related fields.. All students must abide by the codes of ethics of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American Educational Research Association (AERA).
Educational Psychology offers programs and service courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Application Deadlines
- Applications are processed as they are received. Decisions regarding admission are communicated to the applicant before the beginning of the next semester. Although students may enroll any semester following admission, they are strongly encouraged to begin their program in either the summer or fall term in order to enter the proper sequencing of courses.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must apply to the University of Northern Colorado Graduate School before the program area reviews the applicant’s request for admission. To apply, submit the following materials in a single packet along with the application fee. Failure to submit all required materials will delay the evaluation and screening of your application.
- Submit Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test Scores (if GPA is lower than 3.0)
- Required Minimum: 140 Quantitative; 146 Verbal Reasoning; Combined score of at least 297; Analytic Writing 3.5
- $50 non-refundable application fee
- International Students: $60 non-refundable application fee
- Completed Online Application
- Three Letters of Recommendation (pdf) for On Campus Applicants
- Online applicants: Submit Two Letters of Recommendation
- One official copy of transcripts from all accredited college or university attended since completing high school. UNC Alumni need not submit transcripts
