Art & Design, MA

The Master of Arts in Art and Design offers an in-depth and individualized course of study. The program provides opportunities for students who want to develop advanced expertise in Art with Studio, Art Education or Art History offerings. Studio concentrations include ceramics, computer art, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. Students may also pursue trans-media and interdisciplinary topics by combining many of the above choices. These studio choices are also suitable for the K-12 art educator seeking a Master's degree. The M.A. degree can also be used in preparation for advanced graduate study in Art Studio, Art Education or Art History. It is the goal of the School of Art & Design to encourage, foster and provide academic rigor and artistic excellence.
