Graduate School Awards
Student Awards
The Graduate Dean’s Citation for Excellence is awarded each semester to students nominated by their school in recognition of superior achievement in their graduate studies. Each school may recommend graduate students completing their programs during a specific term (fall, spring or summer) . The total number of awards will not exceed 3% of the graduating class.
The Graduate Dean’s Citation for Outstanding Thesis and Dissertation may have four awards each semester: two for outstanding master’s thesis and two for outstanding doctoral dissertation. Faculty may nominate a thesis or dissertation by submitting a letter of nomination that specifies contributions of the study to the discipline.
