Come stop by our table to receive information on the Stonewall riots, what took place, and the harmful impact of the depiction of events in the ‘Stonewall’ movie.

 

‘Out in the Night’ Film Screening with Documentary Star Patreese Johnson

‘Out in the Night’ tells the story of four young Queer Black women who are attacked and threatened by a man on the streets of New York. After defending themselves against the man, the women are charged and convicted in the courts. ‘Out in the Night’ highlights the role of the womens’ intersecting identities and the importance it played in the news coverage of the incidence and their trials. The documentary will be followed by a Q&A with one of the stars of the documentary Patreese Johnson.
