About the Marcus Garvey Center for Black Cultural Education
The Marcus Garvey Center for Black Cultural Education was established in
1982 as a source of support for Black students on the campus of the University
of Northern Colorado. The staff and programs of the Center are designed
to "Challenge," "Support," and to increase retention
and graduation of Black students. Toward this end the Center has a number
of resources and ongoing programs.
