Bicycles on Campus

If you plan to use a bicycle on campus, you'll need to register it with the UNC Bicycle Program through Parking Services and display a UNC bicycle registration permit to park on campus. This program is in place to help deter bike theft. Bike paths run all through campus.

Blue Cruiser Bike Program

The Campus Recreation Center offers a fleet of 50 UNC cruiser bikes that you can rent free of charge. All you have to do is show your student ID at the Recreation Center's Gear Shop. Use it on campus and keep it for up to a week. All bikes come with a helmet, lock and front-mounted basket.

Greeley Bus

The Greeley Bus offers six routes throughout Greeley and Evans. Ride free with your student ID.

Of course you don't need wheels to get around campus. You can always go by foot. It will only take you about 15 minutes to get from West Campus to Central Campus walking at a steady pace. There are sidewalks and paths all throughout campus.
