Ann Keller-Lally

Ann Keller-Lally

Ann Keller-Lally received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. She is an assistant professor of German and teaches language, literature, and cultural studies courses at UNC. Her research interests include foreign language education (task-based learning, critical cultural literacy, online communication), history of science in society, nineteenth century biological determinism (race, criminality, insanity and gender), and analysis of film as cultural artifact.

In addition to taking part in the many extracurricular activities within the department, Prof. Keller-Lally serves as the adviser to the German Film Series, a member of the Summit Organizing Committee, a member of the College Assessment Committee, and a reviewer for the Institutional Review Board of human participant research.
