Current Status
According to the Centers for Disease Control's H1N1 Flu Situation Update, flu activity in Colorado is in the "widespread" category. The University of Northern Colorado continues to take precautions and receive updates from local, state and national agencies in monitoring the situation. UNC is also following CDC guidelines for colleges and universities.

Precautions Being Taken
Campus dining rooms, residence halls, academic buildings and other high-traffic areas have and will continue to be disinfected. Hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed in high-traffic areas and computer labs around campus, as have informational signs about reducing the spread of flu germs.
Prevent the Spread of Flu
The county health department and the CDC recommend taking everyday preventative steps to protect your health whenever any type of flu virus is reported. A vaccine for H1N1 will be available this fall and will be administered to the priority groups recommended by the CDC.
Do I Have H1N1 Flu?
