Professional/Academic Experience

Colorado has been by home for nearly 35 years, from the beautiful Western slope valley of Grand Junction to the diverse landscapes of Northern Colorado.  While attending college in Grand Junction I was inspired by my challenges as a work-study in the financial aid office I quickly developed a deep passion for serving the needs of students pursuing higher education.  This resolve stuck with me and led to a BS in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University while directing the efforts the financial aid department.   Over 20 years later, I have been blessed by the opportunity to guide students and parents through the financial aid application process, help continuing students maintain their funding throughout their journey and advise graduates on repayment after well after their time in the classroom was finished. I am happy to be spending my days doing my part to ensure UNC remains an amazing place to go to school, one student at a time!
