ENG 240: Introduction to Creative Writing: Screenwriting
Description: This course will examine the process of writing a successful screenplay, focusing on the story. The class will evaluate selected films and film scripts from different genres. Students will learn the proper format for a professional submission, and become familiar with a variety of screenwriting resources. Students will develop an original story idea, writing scenes that focus on plot, character, and conflict, and then create a detailed outline for a three-act screenplay.
