Practices

Practices and lessons will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00pm to 10:00pm in the Upstairs Group Fitness Room of the Campus Recreation Center. Admission to the Rec Center is free for students, and $5 for non-students. All lessons are free, so stop by and give it a try!

Location

The Rec Center is located on West Campus, adjacent to Butler-Hancock Hall. Visitor parking is available in M-lot, which is accessed from 20th Street by entering onto the campus at 14th Avenue and heading south.

Immediately on the right, you will see a campus parking pass dispenser station. Visitors, please stop here to pay and obtain a pass to display in your window. Although parking in M-lot is typically free weekends, evenings, and in the summer, please check signage at the lot entrance for the current fee status.

After obtaining a pass, go straight through the 4-way stop an proceed along the campus road past the library, the next building you will see is Butler-Hancock Hall, which has a large metal roof. Park in the lot between this building and the football stadium. The Rec Center is located at the east end of Butler-Hancock. The entrance to the Rec Center is on the north end of the building.

Directions to UNC:

From Denver: Take I-25 North to US-34, use the first US-34 exit off I-25 (exit 257A), which is labeled Greeley. Go east on US-34. After several miles you will approach a large interchange, do not get off on US-34 Business, which is labeled to Greeley, stay on the the highway.

As you enter the city keep going until you reach 11th Ave. Turn left on 11th Ave. After a few blocks you will begin to see campus buildings. After you pass the University Center, which is a large building on a hill on the right side of the road, you will come to the a stop light for 20th St. Turn left on 20th and the next stoplight will be 14th Ave. Follow the directions above to get to the Rec Center.

From Wyoming: Use the same directions as above, except go south on I-25 to US-34, and use the second US-34 exit (exit 257A).
