- 2006 - Honored at University authors and Artists Reception during Academic Excellence Week at Michener Library for my presentation of a Chamber Music Recital at the School of Music on March 2,2006
- May 2005 - Promoted to Full Professor of Music here at the University of Northern Colorado
- January 2005 - Awarded Scholarly Activity Awards by the School of Music and the Graduate School here at the University of Northern Colorado (for trip to Hawaii to present a lecture- Recital at the International Conference on the Arts and the Humanities
- April 2000 - Presented the “Outstanding Faculty Award in Honor and Recognition of Outstanding Dedication to Students” by Director of Disability access Center, University of Northern Colorado, Greeley.
