University Plan

University Plan FY's 1999 through 2005

The primary intent of the University Plan is to focus the university on achieving its academic mission and purposes. Planning goals were established based on input from faculty, chairs and deans; recommendations from external accreditating bodies; Colorado legislation; and higher education enrollment trends in Colorado. The planning goals adopted by the Board of Trustees in December 1999 include:

• Improving the quality of undergraduate and graduate programs;
• Revising university policies and procedures to complement the achievement of academic purposes;
• Aligning resources to assure an optimum balance among measures which reflect program viability; and improving resource management and accountability
