Neighborhood Context

• The majority of the surrounding neighborhood is comprised of residential areas. Small retail and commercial properties bound the campus in a few instances.

• The scale of buildings around the campus are relatively small, regardless of type of facility.

• Much of the surrounding residences are owner occupied single family and long term rentals. The majority of rentals are student housing.

• Within a 10 minute walking distance to the south, is a major retail center which supports student activities. This area is approximately two blocks south of the 11th Avenue campus entrance.
