UNC'S RECYCLING STATISTICS

View UNC's Total Recycling Production Statistics for 2001 thru 2007

NOTES

COMMINGLED. 2001 to Fall of 2003 we were collecting just aluminum which accounts for the low numbers. In the Fall of 2003, we began recycling plastic and glass in addition to aluminum. Commingled products indicated in the tables as of 2004 includes plastic, glass, and aluminum.

Paper. Summer 2003 we started using individual containers in all residential rooms and offices on Campus.

Confidential, "personally identifiable information". At the beginning of 2004, we were able to begin to track our Confidential in pounds instead of by the number of bins.

Measurment Method. Due to the fact that we began to weigh the collected recycling commodities on site, we have converted to using the weights we have calculated for our Recycling Statistics.
