Colorado Chamber Orchestra Academy

Dates: June 1, 2018 through June 11, 2018

The Colorado Chamber Orchestra Academy at UNC (COCOA) is a summer program for outstanding high school and college string students. The unique conductor-­less format provides young artists the opportunity to rehearse and perform alongside professional performing artists in a stimulating and inspiring environment.

Command the Field Camp

Dates: June 8, 2018 through June 10, 2018

Command The Field Drum Major & Leadership camps are short and condensed camps that provide leadership, conducting, and teaching fundamentals to drum majors and section leaders.

George N. Parks Drum Major Academy

Dates: June 24, 2018 through June 28, 2018

Colorado Masonic Band Camp

Dates: June 30, 2018 through July 4, 2018

The Colorado Masonic High School Band Camp is open to all interested high school band students in 9th, 10th or 11th grades statewide with who play at least one marching band instrument.

July 7, 2018

Band Leadership Training Workshop

Dates: July 7, 2018 through July 8, 2018

During this two day band leadership, PA Professor Heidi Sarver joins the team to add further practical applications of the lessons learned over this intense 2 day program. Sessions alternate between working with the students inside to introduce new concepts and perspectives. These are immediately put to practice outside as Professor Sarver utilizes excerpts from proven Drum Major Academy curriculum exercises.

July 15, 2018

UNC Jazz Camp

Dates: July 15, 2018 through July 20, 2018

Designed to be intensive, challenging, and inspiring, the UNC Jazz Camp is led by faculty from the University of Northern Colorado and special guests Don Aliquo, Clay Jenkins, and Paul McKee. This is the chance for middle school through college-aged students to be a part of student big bands, combos, vocal jazz ensembles, jazz master classes, jazz theory and listening classes, student jam sessions, nightly faculty group concerts, and a special performance by the Colorado Jazz Orchestra. Previous band or choir experience required.

July 15, 2018

Colorado International Piano Academy

Dates: July 15, 2018 through July 26, 2018

CIPA Participants will be eligible to enroll in the Colorado Piano Festival. Winners of CIPA Competition will be eligible to compete in CPF's Competition and to perform in CPF's Master Classes.

July 27, 2018

Colorado Piano Festival

Dates: July 27, 2018 through July 31, 2018

With three days of competition, concerts and masterclasses, there will be exciting opportunities for music-lovers, pianists and students of all ages and levels.
