The Colorado Chamber Orchestra Academy at UNC (COCOA) is a summer program for outstanding high school and college string students. The unique conductor-less format provides young artists the opportunity to rehearse and perform alongside professional performing artists in a stimulating and inspiring environment.

The Space Between is a society for the study of literature and culture of the period between the First and Second World Wars. It provides an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary forum for discussion and research of texts, authors and new approaches to traditionally canonical works. It also encourages fresh examinations of art, society and culture illuminating the interwar and wartime periods.

This conference will allow higher education flipped classroom practitioners to exchange information, highlight faculty engaged in assessment of flipped classrooms, and discuss the future of flipped learning in higher education including the professional development with those interested in flipped learning.

The ASL-English Interpretation program at UNC is founded on the principles of bilingual/bicultural interpreter education. Essential components of the program include native/near-native competencies in both American Sign Language (receptive and expressive) and English (written and spoken). UNC's ASL-English Interpretation program will prepare you to interpret in community or educational settings that require you to be able to quickly and accurately integrate visual and auditory information providing linguistic and cultural equivalency appropriate to both languages (ASL and English).

ArtSource Colorado Summer Institute is a week-long program where participants receive standards-based instruction, leadership training, and valuable art making time and resources. Nationally and internationally recognized artists, speakers, and educators are a featured part of this exciting program. Follow-up instruction and advanced training and development continues throughout the school year.

Designed to be intensive, challenging, and inspiring, the UNC Jazz Camp is led by faculty from the University of Northern Colorado and special guests Don Aliquo, Clay Jenkins, and Paul McKee. This is the chance for middle school through college-aged students to be a part of student big bands, combos, vocal jazz ensembles, jazz master classes, jazz theory and listening classes, student jam sessions, nightly faculty group concerts, and a special performance by the Colorado Jazz Orchestra. Previous band or choir experience required.
