Join us for our next meeting on Wednesday, September 28th from 12:00-1:00pm in McKee 0019. Dr. Marilyn Welsh will be walking students through the steps neccessary to successfully navigate and complete the Ed Psych degree programs. Dr. Welsh will also be available to answer any questions you may have - a valuable and worthwhile presentation!

Thursday 9/01, 3:30-5:30pm, McKee 282: School of Psychological Sciences Annual Research Forum
Have you always wondered what kind of research the professors in Psychology are doing? Are you interested in gaining research experience and would like to hear about opportunities? If so, you might want to attent the annual psychology research forum!
Approximately 10 – 12 professors will discuss their research interests and whether they are currently recruiting research assistant volunteers. Feel free to drop by at any time between 3:30-5:30 PM. There will be faculty members from a number of different areas in Psychology, including Behavioral Neuroscience and Physiological Psychology, Educational Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Social Psychology. Refreshments will be served. Open to Psychology Undergraduate & Graduate students!

Attention all graduate students, faculty, instructors, and staff in the School of Psychological Sciences: you are invited to a potluck dinner to kick off the beginning of a new academic year and welcome our new Psychology grad students! This event is being co-hosted by Dr. Theresa McDevitt and the Educational Psychology Society officers. Wednesday 8/24, 11:00am-12:00pm, McKee 0020 (Conference Room): Ed Psych Society Meeting
Help us kick off the 2011-2012 academic year at our first meeting! We will be discussing events and plans for the year, as well as electing new Ed Psych Committee Members. Please come to the meeting with any ideas for events or activities for the upcoming year. This year we will be holding elections online. If you would like to nominate yourself for a committee member position please email me, Michael Rhoads, or our faculty advisor Michael Phillips with the position for which you would like to run. The available positions include President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Web Master, and Editor. We hope you have a great year and hope to see you soon.
