| Dr. McDaniel earned a B.S. degree
in Business and Economics from Manchester College, an M.A. degree in Economics
from Ball State University and a Ph.D. in Economics from Colorado State
University. Dr. McDaniel has over twenty years of teaching experience
and eight years experience in the private sector owning and managing small
businesses. In addition to consulting work, he has published a book as
well as several articles in professional journals. Dr. McDaniel has received
membership in the scholastic honor societies of Phi Kappa Phi and Omicron
Delta Epsilon and has received academic awards for his past publications.
His fields of specialization include business finance and management,
real estate, and entrepreneurship. He is also the UNC Sam M. Walton Fellow
and is the advisor for SIFE
(Students in Free Enterprise).
