The office of Disability Support Services provides access, accommodations, and advocacy for UNC students who have documented disabilities. Academic needs are determined by the documentation and a student interview.

Students seeking accommodations should contact our office at 970-351-2289 to schedule an appointment with a staff member. This is regardless of whether they have ever used accommodations before, have a recent or older diagnosis, or just want to learn more about possible academic accommodations. Any documentation can be submitted prior to or at this meeting (see Documentation Guidelines for more detailed information). If you do not yet have documentation, we can also try to connect you with the correct resources, both on and off campus.
