ASLEI Application Packet
Pre-requitisites to apply for both online and on campus:
- 2 years of ASL as a foreign language in high school or
- ASL 1-4 on a college transcript and/or
- life experience
(A Deaf culture course may also be helpful depending on how ASL competencies are acquired.)
NOTE: If ASL 1-4 are successfully completed at an accredited institution of higher education, 6 semester hours may be used to satisfy UNC liberal arts core requirements.
To apply to the UNC ASLEI BA program, complete the PDF application by downloading the document to your desktop and filling it out. Once the application is complete, you must click the SUBMIT button at the top right corner of the PDF in order for the application to be entered into the ASLEI database. Once your application has been submitted you will receive a confirmation on your screen.
Applications for the 2013-2014 academic year are now closed. Please come back in September of 2013 for the next application period.
