BERNARDO LAMBDEN

Bernardo Lambden (B.J.), Human Resources Analyst, Boulder County Government, conducts wage and salary surveys, prepares salary adjustment recommendations, and administers the County pay plan.  He also develops, implements and administers classification plans, writes classification descriptions, performs job audits, and makes classification recommendations.

Prior to working with Boulder County, Mr. Lambden worked at Mountain States Employers Council (MSEC).  He provided information to member organizations in regard to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission requirements and helped them with their affirmative action plans.  Before working with affirmative action plans, he worked in the Survey’s Department compiling, editing and producing surveys used by member organizations.  The surveys consisted of all types of classifications ranging from Custodians to CEO’s including benefit topics.

Mr. Lambden started his Human Resources career at Adam’s Mark Hotel as a recruiter.  He recruited a diverse workforce for positions ranging from Stewards to first-line supervisors.  He was promoted to Assistant Stewarding Manager after working at the hotel for sixteen months.  After the events of September 11, 2001, he was laid off.

Mr. Lambden earned his Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Colorado State University.  He was born in Manila, Philippines.  At the age of five he was adopted and was raised in Greeley, Colorado.  When he arrived to the United States he overcame the barrier of learning English as his second language.  He now resides in Westminster with his wife Jenny.
