Get to know ME!
The best part of my job: There is always something different to do!
The first job I ever had was: Delivering newspapers.
The strangest job I’ve ever had was: Being an assistant during AP test grading. This basically involved sharpening pencils and filing (i.e. lots of time for napping and doodling) during a week-long test grading extravaganza!
If I weren’t in food service: I would play in a jazz band on a cruise ship.
My refrigerator always contains: Cheese.
My favorite meal is: Sushi and Bubble Tea.
The best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at was: Blue C Sushi in Seattle – all the seating is around a conveyor belt on which plates of sushi rotate around the restaurant and you just grab what you want!
People tell me the celebrity I most resemble is: I’m not usually told I look like a celebrity, but for some reason people always think they recognize me when they have no real reason to.
In my spare time, I like to: Go on walks, take pictures, hang out with my husband, blog, and ride my scooter.
People are often most surprised to find out that I: Play flute, saxophone, piano, guitar, and sing.
The living person I’d most like to have dinner with is: My husband.
The person from history I’d most like to meet is: Sigmund Freud.
My favorite movie is: A Beautiful Mind, Legally Blonde, and all the Pixar movies.
On television I never miss: I don’t have TV, but if I did... anything on HGTV or The Food Network.
My car radio is almost always tuned to: My scooter doesn’t have a radio, so I hum a lot!
I would most like to visit: Italy, Spain, and if I could stand the cold… Antarctica (to see the penguins).
Five things I can’t live without: Family, friends, faith, food, and fun!
