Education: UNC Alummni-87, BS in Food & Nutrition with an emphasis in Food Service Management

The best part of my job: working with so many fun students and talented staff members. It's never the same thing two days in a row!
The first job I ever had was: getting eggs out of the chicken coop & hocking soda at Broncos and Bears games at Mile High Stadium.
The strangest job I’ve ever had was: picking grapes on the Greek island of Corfu.
If I weren’t in food service: I'd be working on a cruise ship or a fishing charter boat.
My refrigerator always contains: hot sauce, BBQ sauce, and Mt. Dew.
My favorite meal is: grilling or BBQ in the backyard with good friends and family.
The best restaurant(s) I’ve ever eaten at were: Cinnamon Lodge in Big Sky Montana, Afternoon Tea at Harrods in London England, Cajun Kitchen in New Orleans Louisiana, Rocking Baja Lobster in San Diego California, Original Gates or Arthur Bryant BBQ in Kansas City Missouri, or the Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood Texas.
People tell me the celebrity I most resemble is: Glen Campbell.
In my spare time, I like to: camp, fish, hunt, go boating, cook or grill, and play "Farmer Brown" on my farm.
People are often most surprised to find out that I: have gone to school in Russia.
The living person I’d most like to have dinner with is: Jimmy Buffet.
The person from history I’d most like to meet is: John Wayne.
My favorite movie is: any John Wayne movie, Dog Solider, and Dances with Wolves.
On television I never miss: a Denver Bronco football game or a Colorado Avalanche hockey game.
My car radio is almost always tuned to: K99 (country) in the truck and Jimmy Buffett in the car or boat.
I would most like to visit: New Zealand and Australia.
Five things I can’t live without: a fishing pole, good friends & family, humor & laughter, BBQ sauce or hot Sauce, and aBBQ Grill.
