Spring 2009 CRJ Reception
The Criminal Justice Program at the University of Northern Colorado hosts an Annual Spring Reception in recognition of current graduates earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. This year’s event recognized graduates from the Fall 2008, Spring 2009, and Summer 2009 terms.
Graduates with a grade point average of 3.5 or greater received academic excellence awards. Recipients of the Walt Francis Award, the Lisa Marie Kimmell Memorial Scholarship, and the Criminal Justice Scholar-Athlete Award were announced.
Following the reception, a book signing was held by author Sheila Kimmell of her book The Murder of Lil’Miss. The book is her true story of the 16-year investigation into the murder of her daughter, Lisa Marie Kimmell.
